We offer both corneal refractive surgery [LASIK, PRK], and intraocular refractive surgery. Intraocular refractive surgeries include implantable contact lenses, refractive lens exchange, toric lens implants, accommodating lens implants, and multifocal lens implants. These comprehensive procedure options allow us to treat almost all forms of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia. If you've been told you're not a candidate for LASIK or PRK, there may be other treatment options.

Dr. Baldassare has worked on a number of laser systems since the mid 1990's and for the past 5 years has been working with the VISX Star laser platform. In opening vivid laser centre he reviewed all the current systems and compared all of the current lasers before selecting the laser to be used for your treatment. You will find as you search websites that all laser companies claim to have the best technology. While it is true that we have seen significant advances in laser treatments and systems over the past 10 years and that there are several very good laser systems in use, we looked at objective measurements rather then manufacture's claims before deciding on the Wavelight Allegretto Laser Platform. The U.S. FDA results are the most controlled and reliably objective numbers available and place the Allegretto laser at the top of the field for excellent clinical results.
